Spectators watched from the shade.
A player jumps up to spike the ball.
The far team tries to return the ball.
A player dropped to her knees to save a ball.
Players watched other games while they rested.
Players watch to see where the ball will land.

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Nearly 300 teams took part in one of the largest volleyball tournaments in the area.

It was the 23rd year for the Brightside/Coca-Cola Volleyball Classic. The tournaments were held in Seneca Park and Baxter Jacks.

Proceeds will benefit Brightside’s beautification and environmental stewardship programs.
